I used 3 different light sources on my roof top. Two on the tide and an overhead light angled the way daylight would normally hit. The shoot took place during night time and we used music as a way to capture different perspectives. I think the important part of photographing portraits, is to be able to capture the subjects personality. To be able to do this you must make the person you are photographing comfortable, and so I had him play music as well as started conversation.
